Testimony Before The US House

We are viewed as experts in the complex area of intangible asset and intellectual property valuation.

ACG has been invited to testify before the US House Ways & Means Committee, an important policy-making branch of the US House of Representatives.

Because of our pioneering work, we were asked to render advisory opinions on the impact of proposed legislation pertaining to the amortization and valuation of intangible assets.

We played a pivotal role in the enactment of Internal Revenue Code Section 197, which allows US corporations to write off acquired goodwill on a straight-line basis over a 15-year life period.

"We have been acknowledged as top-tier for expertise in the area of intangible asset valuation by the House Ways & Means Committee.…"
